Great Blue Heron Hunting-Skagit Valley, Conway, WA

While spending an afternoon in the Skagit Valley, I was in the right place at the right time  to observe this Great Blue Heron while he was hunting.

This one was so intent on catching his prey that he didn’t seem to know there were several of us documenting the event with our cameras.
