Today I went to my granddaughters last soccer game of the season and boy what a difference in the weather.  When I downloaded the images from the soccer game Iwas pleased to find this image of a maple tree ablaze with color against a beautiful blue afternoon Fall sky.  I had taken this image a few weeks ago when I was driving down Ravenna Blvd and it reminded me how incredible the Fall season has been this year.  Of course with the end of the season comes the beginning of the Great Fall rake up and garden winterization. The quaint little beach town of Oceanside is located just south of  Tillamook Oregon on the coast. This part of the Three Capes scenic route is one of my favorites and our family has been visiting this area since my children were little girls.

This photograph was taken on the other side of the beach that is only accessible at low tide.  At the end of the beach is a man-made tunnel which is cut through the cliffs and when you emerge on the other side, this is the extraordinary view.  Feels a little bit prehistoric.
