In the immortal words of The Rolling Stones…Please allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Linda Aaron and I live and work in the city of Seattle. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for such a long time  that I feel like a native even though I am not.  Of all of the places I have lived the Northwest is one of the most beautiful and I am happy to call it home. I have raised two daughters, who both have children of their own. I am blessed to have these beautiful people in my life, they all continue to fill me with joy and wonder.

Photography has always interested me and I consider myself a student of photography because every time I take a photograph I learn something new about the process. For several years I shot freelance Equestrian Photography which was great fun and I met many wonderful people.  Now I just photograph for my own pleasure.

By day I am an office manager for a busy Seattle real estate office.  My office is sited on the south shore of Lake Union which provides a dramatic backdrop to my work day as well as great subjects for photography.  The aspect of my job I enjoy the most is teaching.  I am curious and like to learn new technology and share that knowledge with others which is one of the reasons for this blog.  I wanted to understand the process and to also have a place to share photographs I have taken.

Oh so where did “Skynnard” come from?  Skynnard is a nickname bestowed upon me by my dear friend Ricklie and it stuck. Now you know a little bit about me so please enjoy my photographs and feel free to leave me a comments.

Update:

As of the beginning of April, 2010  my role with Coldwell Banker Bain has changed.  I had to give up my beautiful view of Lake Union, now my office space is in the Corporate office in Bellevue (no view).  The good news is that most of the time I will be working from our various branch offices.  In my new position as Training and Development manager, I will be working with agents and staff doing what I love best which is teaching classes and discussing social media and marketing.
